Descrizione
Il Groenlandaspis era un placoderma artrodire, che significa che aveva un collo articolato, qualcosa che permetteva ai placodermi dell'arthordire di spalancare la bocca. I membri famosi degli artrodiri includono il Dunkleosteus.
Diffusione
Fu scoperto per la prima volta in Groenlandia, ma da allora sono stati trovati esemplari individuali provenienti da tutta Europa, Australia e Antartide, indicando una possibile distribuzione globale di questo genere.
